FS#88 - pydoc is missing

I love to use the pandora for some on-the-go python development, and I think I'm not the only one, but unfortunately the module pydoc is missing, which is needed for doing help(sys) on the interactive prompt. Could you please include that in the next firmware revision? Thanks!

As a rule of thumb -doc packages are not shipped by default in the image but I'll take a look at how big the package is and consider this, Python is already the exception to some rules ;). In the medium term this will be installable from repositories (either OpenPandora or mainline Angstrom) and that may be a better option for the subset of users that will need it (in the same way native development is handled, i.e. http://blogs.distant-earth.com/wp/?p=106). This is effectively a duplicate of this bug ( http://bugs.openpandora.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=120 ) because pydoc is part of Python's standard library. Python modules all contain their own documentation within their code; pydoc just allows it to be viewed easily in a proper format. As a result, the pydoc package is only 55kB compressed. Even after being uncompressed, I think it would fit on the NAND.
