FS#180 - LCD Brightness Lower = Flashing, Dies.

Just try and lower with the Fn+Br- until it starts to flashing and just dies if you go lower. It does go back if you raise it again. Feels wrong. Also no real feel in the brightness getting lower.

Hm, what do you mean? The scripts have been changed so you can actually switch off the backlight completely with the hotkeys. It's supposed to go off... when does it flash for you?

If I lower it so that it turns black. Then turn it up again, one step, It starts to flash. Also there really isn't any step like feel when lowering the brightness. It just stays constant bright and then just goes black.

I can fully confirm that issue! By lowering the brightness too much via the keys it starts flickering, then, one step lower and the backlight is off. By increasing one step then, it flickers again and one more step up bring it to the brightest. After that you're only be able to have either full brightness, flickering or no backlight. A restart doesn't solve the problem. The only thing that bring back the normal operation is to close and re-open the lid.
